Brief: Redevelopment of former factory site into housing. Community engagement of existing communities. Ensure local communities are involved in planning process.
Use artists to inform masterplan by revealing history and culture of place.
Project: A series of artistic residencies where artists were engaged to work with community leaders and local people to discover the local identity.
Work included film set on location, book and a canal rides with artist as consultation event.
